A Ladue original

Fifty years.
Still home.

What began as Jackie’s Place in 1974 became Sportsman’s Park—a neighborhood gathering place named for a legendary St. Louis ballpark.

1974

Norman Probstein and Cardinals great Jackie Smith open Jackie’s Place.

1980

The restaurant takes the Sportsman’s Park name.

Today

Norman’s son Jim keeps the family tradition moving forward.

“The place you came to as a kid—and now bring your kids.”
